A Thought

By A Blessedman

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Our lives have changed forever,Since the event that fateful day.Things that seemed so far off in the distance,Have hit home in a terrible way.Life for so many will never be the same,When they think of their loved ones or start to utter their names.Gone are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends that were so loved,Taken abruptly away and given wings to watch us from above.Buildings will be re-erected,Tears will dry from our eyes.Only God can refill the emptiness we feel,For those souls that have been resurrected.I'm open for any suggestions or critiques Written October 16th, 2001 © on Oct 16 2001 12:36 PM PST, Robert L.
