All I See

By Abilene

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

All I seeBlack hair grated with embersBeautiful stories, plucked from the pastHeated, pleated, steamy crazesSections of seduction that scream perfectionThe snarled hair, jet black symbolismThe face, all I seeThe ivory skin that givesThe cemetery it’s beautyHiding place for the youngGreen eyes that label the sherbet horizonPink smiles that clam and exciteAll I see, or wantThe dawn, the white hands that open my magicThe teeth that invented my sunThe warm voice, sparked all desireAll I need on this present dayThe autumn calls againThe embers now burn redThe hair cannot be kissed by the breezeHair doesn’t flow with timeSmiles have lost all connection with the cemeteryI’ve lost the image that renders All perfection in meThe autumn calls...I’m belated.
