Death For Respect

He’s a greedy grinThe Rainy Day DevilWhat’s in it for meWhen you said you loved me?What’s this hollow stare? The wear & tearThis routine beating On naked soresMy jumbled MessiahThe stuttering fool Who undressed insanelyFor kicks & some kind of...Knowledge that never shows. This twisted candleThe Nothing WordsThat rack the soul,Break the mind...Rules my crazinessAnd obstructs my timeAnd time againWe don’t understandThe permanent crashThe slice & slashOf what we’ve become...What we’ve undoneWhat’s left to succumb?Like blackness the howlEmpties into sadnessAnd sadness takes away clear thinking Clear madness alive in a gutReady to shred & molt. The unresolved orbWith needles & splintersThat plucks & pricks the normalityThat still lingers. And after this hell will WE still linger?Linger small with time then die & dieAnd come up again with a mask Unlike your ownTo wiggle & weave into trouble unknownForget the things she said to youI want the truth I want the truthAnd nothing but this! The satisfaction of at least one lie Lying in a sorry grave Of wilt & slaveWhy not this grave? Why never this truth? So masked & unbroken But ready to serveThis life, so f*cked with sympathyAnd these accordions playing a sickening tuneJust for me, and this crazed meReady for a punch, a crunchA death for respect.
