Coming back hereSeems so strangeBut the feelings are warmAmong all these cold stonesI’ve arrived at the right momentWith the wind all chilled but still mildThis spot lies forever in my heartEngraved close to the people already hereThe leaves whisper to themselvesAbout how they’ve seen me beforeI look up to them as they cling to their branchesAnd with the same thought they look down to meI sigh- wonderment. The water looks cold, but so aliveReflecting off of it the beautiful blueAs the breeze strokes its skin...Ripples.Air as clean as thisWish it could be keptDomesticated for my leisureSo not to travel farIt is possible to breathe in memoryEasy to touch the pastFor nothing goes away with timeThe past is still here.
