sunflower skull
By aiwaz
drifting through the sunflowers they bow beneath my outstretched hands as i pass over a dirty skull of a long forgotten man- careless stumble these stone keep my upright bones washed clear of trembling fear tarpits of the longest night forget nothing in these fields yr memories grow love forlorn and tangled and arranged neatly row by row- anger lust and hatred motions that once seemed so violent now laid out in vegetable calm green and gold enlighted- oh so greedy at birth generous in death yr dreams now seeds cracked under my tooth and chewed slowly to rest if all you ever were was moment of mine to slowly digest than let them build a monument and let none yr fruitful life contest...
