half way broken morning
By Aixerona
i'm either crying out for help or begging you to decipher my screams while you shut your ears, turn away, promise me you won't make me promise anything. the day began as a halfway broken ladder. mirrors as i passed wished themselves shattered. eating at myself but nothing else, still breathing, undeserving, still breathing, heart breaking, life a neverending inhale exhale sequence. i cut clean, bleed slow. trace, don't dig. deep, fast, hurt from the inside out. slash, razor's silver crimson edge, let it burn, let it run. lips went cold but eyes won't close. and if tomorrow i should wake, i'll never again be the same.
