his revenge at my every breath ('old' challenge poem)
By Aixerona
a man who should be out of my life has stepped into my room, taken over my bed and sheets while i pretend to sleep. then out of the blackness of 2.30am he starts to punish me and my spine with sharp lashes and dead hands... punished because i'm still alive. and orders me to scream it out 'THERE'S NO LIGHTING' scream in french while i stare at his heroin eyes. bits of old english and a french nevermore mute shrieks until i topple on the rug he once bled on (purposefully) i choose to roll on my cold 3am floor shake like mad and wonder is he coming to get me (back) Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 05:02 AM PST, Sarah Bernard 0 • 1
