Twisted lullabye
By Aixerona
The baby broke her lullaby Gave me an iced glare I knew she'd never cry As her eyes told me to beware I tried to fix the cradlesong I gave up. It fell apart, bit by bit She was smirking, singing along A devil's smile on her face, twisting it The song shot from her mouth like a flame I forgot it all- where did I find that baby?? She played my mind like a game The infant was winning, running after me. Both of us running as we stayed in place I, afraid, cursing the song that twisted my night She, evilly smiling, in love with this chase, Obviously finding pleasure in my fright. The infant looked at me with her evil eyes, Said 'say your prayers, choose your poison.' Sent a chill down my spine as she laughed at my cries. I sobbed 'when she smiles at someone else, i feel forlorn...' My eyes closed, I fell to the ground I thought I felt myself dying Opened my eyes to a familiar sound With my ex-best-friend, and at me, she was laughing.
