It happens that I remember you to forget you
By Alain
It happens that I remember you to forget you. I'm afflicted with inundating thoughts of you which peck at like birds at my head. I don't know perhaps there are travelled rivers tired of the water they carry. As if by revenge they sink boats as they tarry. Even in this state I carry my sustenance in a crate filled with precious moments I miss, and are implacably recorded like age rings in the veins of the trees. Thats how I wanted to love you forgetting you! Like blue tassels gone with the wind in its invisible hands. They dissapear and nobody knows where. I find you alone and abandoned in the ruins of your own turbulant impulses. And I hear lamentations and crying from angels disillusioned by your inept and elusive search for happiness that only emanates from within. I only ask that you remember me like a bough of red roses that with time wither and die. But what they were is alive and living in an oasis behind the sun! I want to remember you to forget you with maternal instincts. That will never forget how you were innocent and frail full of life and tender. I'll wait for you my love! my life! like a port waits its ship. But if one day you look back and find there are steps missing remember they can only be filled with my love and prescence.
