Did you see the bird falling                                                                     It fell into the sky                                                                      crashing down                                                              It's feathers stayed intact                                                               It stood up and flew away                                                            The blue sky couldn't hold it                                                                It felt better in the night                                                                   It didn't sing a song                                                                The singing you heard                                                        is what you created in your head                                                            Because we always assume                                                              that the birds always sing                                                                  It had an odd color                                                              Really none we have seen                                                            It flew so far into the night sky                                                          that it blended in with the stars                                                            but when you think it is gone                                                        you think it had decided to leave                                                            and it doesn't talk to your eyes                                                            That bird will always be there.
