And then the moment came even the forest was breathless     An echo would carom forever The silence in that instant exposed the pounding of my heart     A drum heard so internally What stillness through profound pause where feelings within were unveiled     My soul grasped for freedom A shadow like a willow slipped smoothly along shores edge     Love enveloped me with rich compassion Her wings surrounded my being softening the tension of my spirit     Joy crumbled my fear and pain And then the moment came even the forest was breathless     Embraced by an Angel I finally cried Written February 21st, 2002 © on Feb 21 2002 02:04 AM PST, Don Baird    0 • 12
