Thinking of You
I think to myself, “What should I do?” And I can’t help but to think of you You’re always giving me great advice, And this I will not sacrifice When I think of what you would say, All my doubts are washed away And confusion is left behind, For the answer has been defined You have always told me what is right When it is dark you show me light You help me see through clear eyes And you always hear my silent cries One day I know that I will see All that you have given to me And all the things I’ve gotten through Just because I thought of youThis poem is about my teacher/friend/therapist. I don't know where I would be right now if she wasn't there for me... Written November 27th, 2001 © on Dec 25 2001 01:41 PM PST 0 • 12
