Invisible Invisible in your eyes, You walk all over her leaving footprints of hurt on her soul, Not seeing who she is, but more who you want her to be Failing to realise That she is not part of the mould So she becomes an outcast to your society Since you cannot accept her As she represents all those emotions you keep inside, Those which you try to suppress For they do not fit into your perfect world. She lives in confusion, searching for identity But you scorn her difference, Misunderstand her,judge her, even hate her, As your hatred reflects her own selfhatred. Pushing her further into her dreams of nonexistence In which she creates her illusion of security. I see her And I listen, As she reveals her cruel world of desolation Her tears tell of her search for refuge in broken promises Leaving her screaming on the inside, Longing for release, Release only you can give For she longs to be part of your world I feel her pain, I cry her tears, I know her thoughts, We are the same....
