'goodbye, my muse' (Survivor Challenge 10)
By AngelEyes323
Once in a lifetime Love so beautiful Deeper than I’ve been Offering your hand Tenderness declared At such a moment True love that took plight Taunting paramour Romantics revere Words mixed with chorus An unleashed ardor Far from deep slumber Deafening silence Words dripped by your vein Scarcely be reckoned A languid disguise A transformation Searching for the words That others exude Badge of infamy I never knew pain Until there was you Piece by piece I lose But you fail to see I shall endeavor Taking you with me Choked on emotion Muted lips of love Pain becomes stronger Still I search for you To feel you again Still clinging to you Dagger through my heart Now beyond your reach Love losing meaning Never to return Forgive me my muse You put out the flame Ashes at your feet My final goodbyeThis was wrote for the "Survivor Challenge". We had to write at least four stanzas, with four lines each, each line having five syllables. This is what came out of me after a very stressful day LOL...
