'HOLLYWOOD WALTZ' (Survivor Challenge 4)
By AngelEyes323
[My man] you’re {on the border], brink of destruction [Visions] of [life in the fast lane] [Train leaves here this morning] Jetting to [Hotel California] in a [New York minute] Burning desire to see [the girl from yesterday] Nothing but a [witchy woman], [in the city] You’ll [get over it], [after the thrill is gone] Need to [learn to be still] Think you’re [The Disco Strangler], [King of Hollywood] In [those shoes], a [certain kind of fool] [Chug all night], sleep all day Drinking [tequila sunrise] on a [Saturday night] Letting loose at [the Sad Café] [Twenty one] and out of control You’re a [midnight flyer], taking it all in [Your lyin’ eyes] [take it to the limit] [You never cry like a lover], stone cold emotions Line them up, [pretty maids all in a row] [Victim of love], such [wasted time] Gambler of dreams, gonna be a [heartache tonight] Playing the game of [the new kid in town] [Tryin’] [to take the devil] An [outlaw man], a [desperado] Living like [James Dean] A [good day in hell] [Too many hands] have left their scars Your soul’s [already gone] Gonna lose out [in the long run] [You need to take it easy], need to find your way You’ve lost your [peaceful, easy, feeling] Maybe you’ll [try and love again] [Most of us are sad], missing the man you were [One of these nights] you’ll wake up Recognize you always had [the best of my love] See that [life’s been good], [isn’t it true]? When you quit dancing your [Hollywood waltz] I pray that [love will keep us alive] [I wish you peace]This poem is wrote for the "Survivor challenge". We had to choose a band and then write the poem from song titles. Not too artistic, but here it goes LOL... Written April 2nd, 2002 © on Apr 02 2002 07:40 AM PST, Kathy D 0 • 10
