Outside.
From the middle of the room, I’m peering inside. For there are laws I must abide. Can’t say how I really feel. Everything that once was fake, suddenly becomes real. I’m left with no one to confide. Wishing reality would subside. The truth has been stolen Your lies have left your mouth swollen. How I long to be accepted. Trying so hard only to be rejected. Nothing I do Is ever good enough for you. You have judged too soon By stereotypes, you are consumed. We live in a world that is all too fake. By doing this we put our own lives at stake. Although I’m physically present. My soul has never been a resident. For I’m never a part of your group. I’m only in a perpetual loop. No matter how hard I try You don’t care, and pieces of me slowly die. I wont accept your lies. And from this point I will arise. For what you think doesn’t matter. All you say is mindless chatter. I’d rather be alone, Then an ignorant clone. Written April 9th, 2002 © on Apr 09 2002 01:13 PM PST 10 • 0 • 1
