Thank you for opening your heart to me. Your heart is such a sight to see. You gave me the key. And it’s touched me so deeply. You have an incredible heart. Although I always knew you were smart. I never noticed the art. That set you apart. You are unlike everyone I know. Seeds of inspiration, inside me you sow. I love your mind and it’s flow. In your oceans of intellect, I could forever row. I could be with you forever, and never get enough. You give meaning to all things, that I had thought of as simple ‘stuff”. Although on the outside you seem to be tough. I know that there is truly a diamond beyond the rough. I always thought I knew you. But now it’s all been proven untrue. Because you are wonderful too. Not realizing this sooner, I do rue. You are beautiful inside. In life, I’d let you be my guide. In you I know I can confide. I wish you’ll always be by my side. For you are a light. And I wish to never fight. Even when you’re mad, you’re an amazing sight. To forever love you, I just might. Although I won’t leave you ever. Our friendship you just might sever. And I know I’ll love you forever. And to hate you, I know I could never. Know that you will always have me as a friend. Even with time, I friendship will never end. My ears, heart, and shoulder I’ll always lend. For the sorrows that I know, you always seem to mend. But you are leaving me. Maybe it’s something meant to be. I want you to be near. But never seeing you again, I fear.
