If you love someone... let them go.  Isnt that what they say? Do they have a rule for this?   I never had you anyway. In you I saw more than my future.  You were a way to forget my past. Years of pain and misery upon my life were cast. The more we talked I shared with you.  My peace with you was real. There was overwhelming intensity I never thought I could feel. You brought color to my world where I saw just black and white. As I approached the end of the tunnel, it was you who caused the light. Each moment draws me  closer as in love with you I fall. I opened up my world for you, to you I gave it all. This is as far as I go with you, for you have set a limit. If you cant surrender your world to me, my love I cant be in it. You took me to the very edge and then you slammed the door. If you loved me like I need you to, you'd want to give me more.. People in your life have hurt you; so you refuse to let me in. If you cant stop distrusting me, we never can begin. We built our castle in the sky, but we will never share it. I cant settle for part of of you, I know I couldnt bear it. Just know my love is endless and you'd never have regret. Im sorry for your pains of past, too bad you cant forget. My love I can not set you free, for you were never mine.
