The old sofa became comfortable one day the stain where I ate eggs and toasts hungover the smell of your feet in the morning my bath robe torn yet you looked in lust the plan was unknown to me I announced my discomfort daily the depression I called it you bought gifts and looked the other way I envy that oblivion you call life I know you inside and out you are not who I want or expected you to be this is not your fault I call it fate we have sex one last time before I announce my departure the disbelief brings tears to my eyes but that is just a show Im happy some would say estatic to be rid of you although I dont tell anyone this I just play the part Written April 11th, 2002 © on Apr 11 2002 02:05 AM PST   0 • 1
