Losing a Friend
By audrina
I lay amongst the crashing waves. The weather harsh on my wilted shell. Trees shadow me as I think of you. IT IS SAD TO LOSE A FRIEND! Tears trickle down my cheek in your memory. I MISS YOU! I miss your soothing voice, I long for your laughter once again. The sand reminds me of our past and our future, as it lay snow covered and lifeless. I realize this is my fault. I stare into the stars, so bright and magnificent. Trying to capture each and every one as an individual beauty. I turn around to smile, but I am alone. Alone with my thoughts, my pain. Afraid to call, this beach becomes my only connection. The day we sipped wine under these very stars, and talked of our lives. The day we swam carefree, becoming one with the universe. I grow sad each and every hour as I deny I am in the wrong. I exit the beach whispering words you will never hear. I am sorry. As I drive away I remember the past one last time.
