Marsh
By audrina
The shallow water ripples delicately knowing nothing of my tainted eyes. If only these creatures of the marsh could understand the pains of humanity...the pressures of life, they might accept me as a part of their innocence. A ritual of flight circles above and I wonder the feeling of their freedom. The emotions in which I would feel if I could soar. The birds fly into the distance never questioning my longing.2000, Written February 15th, 2002 © on Feb 14 2002 05:35 PM PST 18 • 0 • 10
