Epitaph - Sarah Hope Robinson

Epitaph - Sarah Hope Robinson Mom said to be home by 10 The seconds were closing in Only 5 blocks to go, 2 already past Come on, drive quick and fast That is what I told my friend Who knew it would be the end? We turned the corner way too fast That memory was my last She was a little drunk you see But that didn't matter much to me The car skidded out of control We ran into a telephone pole This kind of scene Happens to many teens When will we learn? I never knew life was such bliss My lips will never feel another kiss But it was my choices, and mine alone So for all teens that may drive home Don't drink and drive, the life you save may be your ownNo this did not really happen. Thank God. It was a school assignment. Write a epitaph (something on a tombstone, so she's speaking from the dead) for a fictional person. So here it is. Tell me what you think.
