...andso we die a little
By benafim
…And So We Die a Little Died a little last night, staggered about light-headed and numb. Feet didn’t follow brain’s command. Wished the phone would ring; didn’t expect it though, three in the morning. Not much fear I was prepared, but wished someone would be here with me. Tried to make coffee, hands useless spilt milk on kitchen floor Stumbled into bed left side of my body useless. Waited for the moment, fell asleep, awoke at seven, numbness gone, morning sun through windows and sparrows, on the roof, argued as usual. Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 07:53 AM PST 0 • 10
