Chill and shake well before serving

FILTERED WATER; Everything I know is refined Filtered and distilled until all meaning is lost My entire life extracted from a few insignificant moments FRUIT JUICES FROM CONCENTRATE; Reduced to manageable memories From which I’m to take enough to fill in the blanks To interpolate my life from their scattered and meaningless occasions (ORANGE, LEMON, GRAPEFRUIT, TANGERINE AND LIME); They send me different flavours Make me believe this new trifle’s better than the last They present to me select snapshots to make it appear to be sweeter SUGAR/GLUCOSE-FRUCTOSE; But it is to no avail For I’ve seen the truth, they cannot deny me that No matter what they might do now, I know the truth and I have seen the light CONCENTRATED WATER EXTRACT OF ORANGE; I now know of that which they do Know that they suck dry the very sweetness of it And when they discover that I know, they sprinkle in choice ingredients CITRIC ACID (CONTROLS TARTNESS); Hoping I won’t sour on it But how could I hope to find joy and happiness If I know everything they give me is engineered to a purpose NATURAL FLAVOUR; And given under false pretences Under the delusion that this is what real life is That there is nothing more beyond what they show, beyond what they choose to play RETURN FOR REFUND WHERE APPLICABLE.
