Dunblane
By billy
It was a day, just like any other day As the young, and innocent made their way To Dunblane school, where life was calm Until it fell victim,to the devil man. Where were you, when the man from hell Came to cast his evil spell On little ones, innocent and pure God,how we all looked up to you. But you never lent a hand When they needed you that day Now there's no more laughter And no more words to say God we all believed in you But, how can what they say be true? When you let the sound of children having fun Be drowned out by the devils' gun. On the face of every girl and boy Was the look of innocence, and joy But then you let the devil walk in And he had a gun with him And the lives, and hopes,of those so young Were gone before, they had begun. Never to be forgotten,as we burn the candles' flame Those innocent victims of Dunblane.this poem was as you may not know, about a primary school in a quiet part of scotland,uk.where a mad gunman burst in the school and massacred children and teachers.
