Phantom biscuit eater
By billy
There's no biscuits in the tin The phantom biscuit eaters' been No one owns up,to the trail of crumbs The mystery remains of who succumbed One minute it's full, the next it's lying bare There's possible culprits everywhere But no one will say" yes it was me" Who ate all the "digestives" and "rich tea" This leads us all to believe The phantom biscuit eater lives He waits for a chance to make his raid Of being caught, he isn't afraid He will munch his way through all thats there Then disappear into thin air Next time around,i'll lay a trap And catch the phantom in the act Then maybe i'll get a biscuit to myself From the biscuit tin, upon the shelf..IN MY POEM I MENTION "DIGESTIVES" AND "RICH TEA" i come from scotland, where these 2 types of biscuits are popular...i hope the line in the poem, never got lost with anyone, who is not familiar with those biscuits... i hope you enjoyed the poem too Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 04 2001 09:32 PM PST 10 • 0 • 14
