The man in the mask
By billy
He rides into the wild west town Guns hanging menacingly by his side Eyes shifting back and forth, behind his mask As along the dusty street he rides He's a man with a mission And no one stands in his way He's feared throughout the wild west Who is on his hit list today? He stops outside the saloon And secures his tired horse outside Conversations stop,as he walks through the doors as up to the bar he strides. There's a poker game in the corner And the stakes are running high Our man drinks up,and walks back out To face the dark night sky As he gets outside,he's startled by a shout Of "reach for the sky",and a shot rings out He turns and shoots, and from a roof falls down A cowardly man from the one horse town. He rides into the distance With another notch on his belt While his victim lies still on the ground In the cowards blood he had spilt No one knows the name of the mystery man But very few will stop to ask Why he came into their town And why he hides behind the mask...
