The two bridges
By billy
I live in a place Where the waters' embrace The banks of the river i love The glistening waters run swiftly along While the two bridges stand towering above It's a view i've enjoyed Since i was a young boy And after all these years,it's not lost its appeal The two bridges span, the dark sky at night And their lights give them a heavenly feel. The rail bridge is over 100 years old And still looks good, after all of that time While the road bridge runs alongside It's beauty it does not hide And they both form a fantastic skyline.the two bridges in question, span the river forth in a place called south queensferry, where i live, which is 10 miles outside of edinburgh, the capital city of scotland, great britain..i hope i set the scene ok...you must visit if coming to edinburgh Written November 22nd, 2001 © on Nov 21 2001 05:58 PM PST 10 • 0
