The Man Full of Vitamins

By birksy

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I’d really like to say That the man full of vitamins Is fully wide awake Can see it all, and Answer every question first, Or maybe, just a small thing, Could he be a little quieter, As we make our way to work. But I fear my rest is lost As with each motion left or right, Those tiny letters rattle in his case. So when I sidle past, I’ll make sure the cherub sleeps, Then knock loudly on the window while the train is pulling out, that way he’ll know I meant it, he’ll know I knew his stop.
