'Dancing fool.'
By blackheart
Recumbent jester waiting still, For a bell to call him in, To dance and make a fool, Of himself... once again. That's me. At least, how i feel... Always i'm the idiot, Forever standing out... Noticed when i make mistakes, For never knowing how; To be myself for everyone, Let loose who truly lyes, Beneath this battered, tearing skin, Behind these weary eyes. To open up and let them see, That i'm really not so bad, A grateful and polite old soul, For everything i never have. To show my inner feelings, Let out the pain i feel, Speak clear and free without a fear, Then maybe all my wounds might heal. But; I cannot. I don't know how... Unless; You are here beside me, To hold me tight, yet free me. Allow me to express my mind, Easily and freely. Only you hold this much power, You are my light, my fuel. And now you’re gone i'm stuck again, Dancing like a fool. Written January 26th, 2002 © on Jan 25 2002 11:21 PM PST, harry luck 0 • 10
