'Glad you asked.'
By blackheart
Must i see red clouds, When the sky is so blue? Can't i be happy, Instead of so blue? Won't i be healthy, all warmed up inside? Glad when i see you, But instead i see blue. Radiant anger, Flailing my fists. Red raw and atrophied, from waiting for this! For what? (glad you asked)... i'm waiting for sunshine to light up my day, to cast me a rainbow to help show the way. i'm waiting for blue skies to beat back the red, perhaps it will happen, if you get out of my head! icy cold lady, blue with the breeze, must i see red clouds, when i just want to see... you on a postcard, covered in smiles, with a map that says, 'here!' regardless of miles... i'll be there, i'll come, in an instant i'll start, on a journey to meet you, to join back the part. but instead i see red clouds, sky blue covered deep, i'll only be happy, when i know i can sleep, dreaming of you, of our time that i crave, but i see red, nothing more, no less. Does this make sense... Should i relent? ... No, for... the icy cold lady, blue with the breeze, somehow she's perfect, but so deformed, so diseased! she's brilliant and sweet, but built out of sand, she easily stumbles, and falls from my hand... not quick to return, instead she becomes, stone like and frozen, through to her bones. But her heart still keeps beating, it's warmth is divine, just damn hard to get to, through the rocks and the twine, that holds her together, that keeps it in place, i love her so dearly, my cold blue coloured lace. Perhaps now it's clear, What it means to be dear, Thought of and loved much, Regardless my fear... but remember... i'll always see red clouds, while you're frostily blue, my heart will freeze over, and too become blue, so much i ask for, i'm sorry for that, but i'm just glad to see you, whatever your colour!
