'The Downs.'
By blackheart
Sitting lonely, only us, The grass and birds our friends. Though winds still gust around us, The sun is here again. Champagne under starlight, But only from your eyes, The day, it is not done yet, As together here we lie. Lips together, perfect, My angel moves me deep. Heart as one we hold, Each other in this heat. Silent bliss, I whisper, ‘I love you’s’, in your ear, You drink some more and smile, But pretend you didn’t hear. Soon it’s time to go, But the memories will remain, As I hold your hand, I wish, That none of this could ever change. Written April 9th, 2002 © on Apr 08 2002 09:53 PM PST, harry luck 0 • 8
