'The Seaons and Me.'
By blackheart
Fallen leaves, laid undisturbed, in an Autumn meeting snow, The Winter comes, the trees stand bear, in this brisk but heart felt season's show; Blend me with the back ground, see shades of me upon this land, Let I be grass and foliage, where ever I decide, to sit, to stand. Paint the sky with moonlight as I bask in sunlight rare, Then let I shock the audience, as I torment the moon with solar flare. Show the leaves fall freely, in an empty, aching plain, Run me through with grassy blade, when I paint gold all the rain. Tempt the Gods with offers, that of fruit and wheat so pure and sweet, Then lay me down upon stone plate, with but a Summers air to breathe. Glaze my hands with honey, as the bees appear for Spring, I'll fall to earth with ugly might, when I seek their deathly sting. A breeze so fresh it wettens eyes, in a field made of greed, Hacking trees, the lumber dead, when I snap their twigs they bleed. Sap run dry, refract the light, now expose my heart; inside, Pump it still, see mouths agape, as the act closes slow tonight. And as the moon falls softly, I’ll hop upon it's dusty back, When curtains fall, I’ll disappear, as this seasons stage, turns black. The End.2000, This was written a little while ago, but... is one of the few poems that i have written, that for some reason sticks in my mind... i... well, i guess i just wanted some others to read it too.
