Soul Mate
By branhamjd
I felt your presence surrounding me the strangest sensations tingling me Your face so familiar yet new smiling and giggling is all I could do a warming glow when I looked in your eyes a different feeling then any other guy more then just a schoolgirl crush your smile gave me the biggest rush I can't believe that I still get butterflies you would think I would be a little more wise yet I knew that I could not let you walk away there was so much I needed to say it must have been in another life maybe once upon a time I was your wife these are the thoughts spinning in my head I believed that love at first sight was dead I am not a psycho desperate for love but could he be sent from up above this has got to be my real soul mate beyond chance this is fate I can't explain this feeling inside but I threw caution aside I put my pride on the table but for this one chance I was willing and able he gave me his number and told me to call he could be the one to make me fall I love his accent and tender voice on the phone you could feel the warmth in his tone just one date is set before he is off for a week as soon as he arrived my knees felt weak dinner, wine and great conversation laughing and talking complete relaxation is this the one I prayed for check back and see . . . there will be more there is something that I do know my soul is somehow attached to Mr. OwensboroI plan to continue this poem as this relationship progresses.
