Whispering Hope
She's whispering hope into his ear. Making him think there's nothing to fear. He's holding on to a perfect yesterday, waiting for his pain to fall away. Now the sun sets on tomorrow, she's got nothing left for him to borrow. He's dreams will fade with the setting sun, she cries as she realizes what she's done. She was a dirty little girl only wanting the best, now she sees she pushed him to be just like the rest. Written August 22nd, 2001 © on Aug 22 2001 03:10 AM PST 0 • 1
