Knowing that we were never "best friends," Makes me worry more now. Scared that you will leave me now, Worries me to death somehow. I know you've got your problems, And God knows I've got mine. We can do it together I promise, Please, just give it some time. I hate to see you so down, So unhappy everyday. But there's no need to give up, We'll get through this, there is a way. Leigh, even though you're sad right now, It will get better, I know. I'll be your 'best friend' forever, No need to be so low. Every night that I'm not with you, I'm scared of what you will do. If the notion hits you right, I fear that you, I may lose. I try to spend everyday with you, But we each have our own lives. It's hard to keep an eye on you, Knowing that you want to die. Our friendship never meant that much, Until now you see. I cherish all we do together, I need you here for me. Through all the tough times that we face, We'll get through it together, I know.
