Animals

If I could chose an animal that I would like to be perhaps I'd chose an elephant, but wait I'd better see Don't the hunters kill them for their tusks and nothing more I don't want to die like that upon the forest floor Well how about a sea creature a lovely baby seal. I would get to swim all day or dive to catch a meal but what if hunters saw me and hit me on the head stole my lovely white coat and left me lying dead Then how about a parrot flying through the air living in the jungle I wouldn't have a care but no there's hunters there as well ready with their nets to send us all around the world and sell what's left as pets perhaps then I should be a man he made the jungle laws and only now he's finding out it's full of awful flaws for some creatures it is to late but maybe if you're willing we can save what's left of them from all our needless killing Written October 10th, 2001 © on Oct 09 2001 08:58 PM PST   0 • 9
