Unforgiving Memories
By BridieMc
When you lose someone close Nothing compares to the pain, it's worse because the pain reminds you as if you're watching that person die You can see them getting closer To the shadow of the valley of death imagine their fear and wish you had more time And wonder, do they know what's coming? You never know what you've got till it's gone The absent mindedness, and painful reminders It seemed like such a chore when they remembered It hurts because it's like they've just been told Because they're asking for their mother and she died when they were oldI wrote this poem for school, and its the first real attempt i made at poetry. So it's sort of different from the others. Written October 30th, 2001 © on Oct 30 2001 05:37 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
