'Them'
By Brittany
I didn't even know your name But I could still feel your pain 'Their' screams went unheard by most But I heard them still. Flashes of red Blood filled tears The death of a soul A death known for years. Such cruelty in these streets Suffering that some will never meet Ourlives are sheltered But 'theirs' are not. A war now to be told Over seas around the world They kill more and more And fear mounts the score. 'They' all died without notice And their souls are left at unease But what about the rest of us Who now have to fend for the rest? Written November 14th, 2001 © on Nov 14 2001 02:06 AM PST 0 • 10
