Undying Love
Longer version of 'Forgiveness'Above As Bitter words ring through the home maternal bonds are torn. Misguided curses find her heart and leave her there to mourn. Mourning for her eclipsed son, her son that cannot shine, for time away and time ill spent now cloud his once clear mind. Now loved ones gather by his side to guide him forth today, the few who still sincerely care he calmly turns away. Away he runs to find himself, or so it surely seems. Chasing things he feels he loves, chasing foolish dreams. When did he change and go so wrong, and who is there to blame? The boy once known and loved so dear is truly not the same. Why has he gone? Why has he fled? He runs from all that's right. Fear of being wrong at all, now drives him through the night. Running blindly through his life, scars he does recieve. Along with some that he'd hand out, to loved ones he'd decieve. And days they passed, along with hope, replaced by misery. The pain that she most surely felt, brought forth by that of he. But just as all seemed surely lost, the stranger reappeared, ready now to change for good, the storm had finally cleared. The leap of faith that she called trust, returned to her at last, no more lying to her face, he'd left that in the past. Her mind at ease, set forth to dream, the hurt was now removed, no more sleepless, shameful nights, her heart he'd finally soothed. Her soul was finally free of pain, though scars would surely stay. The power of undying love gives life to him today. Written November 6th, 2001 © on Nov 06 2001 10:36 AM PST 0 • 8
