Listening to the radio,to see what songs on top.All of them are better thanthe number one from Pop.Pop has a few songs and new songs everyday, but still, the same old songs..over and over the stations play.A kid singing about love, heart ache and divorseAnd after their studio sessionsthey go back to their 4'th grade course. They sing of what's real, how they feel and what it takesnot even touching an instrumentor songwritting...what fakes. Some old dude from the label, probably down on his luckhad this stupid little planon how to make an easy buckChange some preppy teenage boysand have them sing about the streetThen get a couple girls together, tell them what to wear and what to eat.Have them all sell out stadiums, and theme parks galour!Make them alittle famousand the public will be your whore. You can tell us what's 'cool' and everything in styleAs we spend our money on crapyou getting richer all the whileMaybe it's time the youngstershear some punk or rockA band that writes and plays their ownanything but N.K.O.T. BLOCK!I didn't put much thought into this poem...SURPRISE! lmao .. i really just wrote it now as i went along because i turned on the radio and like 3 or 4 stations it was all the same old shit. POP N'Sync, Spears, Back street boys... i hope they're all on the same boat when it sinks! And I'm sorry if someone reading it doesn't quite agree with me... i guess we just like different stations thats all lol Written October 28th, 2001 © on Oct 28 2001 03:10 AM PST 10 • 0
