You found me Walking to the cafeteria I knew you were going to ask "Where have you been?" My guts sank and I felt like I was under a spotlight I knew it was no coincidence that we ran into each other I wanted to cry so badly, so badly Even though I didn't tell you my whole life story I knew that you knew what has been going on I prayed for a friend that would take me to the side and force an answer out of me it's true I didn't expect you I told you so much that has been going on I poured my heart out, well, most of it It was a relief to tell someone that I have been down and so good to know that someone actually cared It's not easy to admit I have done wrong or to talk to someone about all the anger and frustration inside of me God gave you graceful ears and a loving heart I was truly encouraged and revived It will be a while before I can stand on two sturdy feet But you were sent that morning at that time to lift me up even if it was a little bit Thankyou friend Continue to bless others with you genuine concern You never know how it can change someones's life or perspective Thankyou Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 19 2002 01:56 PM PST 18 • 0 • 12
