After I Die
By Canon
I was in the woods lighting fires for fun under the burning rays of the mid-day summer sun when I saw something That no one should see. A hole in the ground with mist coming toward me. A hole deep, An abyss of death. I looked down into the hole, I closed my eyes and held my breath. I dove into the hole, colors streaming past my eyes. The hole seemed endless, but it ended at my surprise. I slowly fell to a muddy ground, landed as soft as a feather. I trekked forward through The techni-color storming weather. I came to a town, with houses that seemed small. I entered what looked like a gas station, but there was no one there at all. This place seemed so imaginitive, but also really sad. this place was all my thoughts ive ever thought, all the problems ive ever had. Thats when I realized that I had died maybe an accident with the fire. this place was my heaven the place I go after I expire. The weather was unforgiving, the sky was many colors. as I looked above to the sky, I saw the place where my halo hovers. The storm raged on, I watched what I left behind. I had died without even knowing and escaped into my mind. Written December 18th, 2001 © on Dec 18 2001 06:14 AM PST, Joshua 20 • 0 • 10
