Nurse Me
By Canon
Hidden beneath my smile, lives a torn and worn out frown. Hiding from the cruel world, that always seem to rip it around. Hidden beneath my chest, is an old and battered heart. hiding from past experiences, in which it was ripped apart. Behind my eyes of today, hide my tired ones of the past. Tired of hiding, or running away to cry in the fresh cut grass. underneath the skin on my hands, are the bruises i have sustained. scarred from me crying in the freezing cold while it rained. the lungs of my childhood have been worn and can longer expand. from running from my problems, whenever one was upon me, i turned and ran. the only part of me not battered, beaten, torn, or strewn, is the soul in which i inhabit, everything will be healed soon. for my angel is here, to patch and heal each one. this angel is my girl, in return i shall heal her some.
