A Girl
By CarlIVPoetry
Three men from virginity scorned for then on textures of skin transforming like her beaten soul Falling hard for the wrong colored eyes Six men towards insanity recollection is still found but hidden praying that one day you'll forget a quarter hour of love Seventeen men of blurry faces that glass wall you neglected to shatter in a younger state crumbled upon the floor, lodged in your feet All of the life you inhaled away, bloody noses and all the life you gave away, thigh bruises One man across the bar never touched you... he remembered your name. He cherished your heart. Written March 1st, 2002 © on Mar 01 2002 04:19 AM PST 0 • 8
