Hollow Exoskeleton
By CarlIVPoetry
Withered upon dried Stepping on my heart has become daily as it sinks to my feet Crying for the sake of pity Shivering in bed Lusting for one sensation in an empty shell of a relationship Attached to bark Clinging on your motionless emotion I squeeze the light from the firefly and allow my finger to glow like E.T. I only wish to extend my neck as such... To peer over this pressure, above the crowd and follow your shifting, seductive, pelvic movements... large enough for child birth yet, small enough to fade away... into, I'll never know.
