Coyote Snatches Love

By Carole Dudley

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Expelled from a time warp of fevered love into  Lovelessness, (that land siphoned of its air), coyote rustled through his trash can moments full for the taking, rules, laws, language, in code. lonely...lost...abused... "The steam roller of fate has yet again caught my sorry soul, under its impartial tread," said coyote.. "Guess what, Lover", he laughs,, fattening  up and running over the hill into the next page of his story.. "I snitched your love."
