Giving Up On Guys
By Carpe Deum
I've given up on menThey're not worth waiting forThey've always got some problemLike their familyTheir dogTheir lifeAnd they say WE need anger managementProzacMidolWhateverAnd then as soon as something happens to them...WHOOSH!It's ok to be madWhile we have to be satisfied by writing poemsLike this oneIt's fine if they go off and destroy a doorA room A cityWhen we're more then willing To help them work it outOh to h*** with itI think I'll be a nunOk all you guys out there, please don't be too offended by it. Chances are it's not pointed at you as I wrote this about a few of my guy friends on campus. This is my own personal opinion and you don't have to agree with it. That, after all, is the beauty of poetry! Written October 16th, 2001 © on Oct 16 2001 08:40 AM PST 18 • 0 • 14
