Breaks The World Beneath(challenge poem)
By Cebeara03
She sits quietly With her rasberry lips Glowing from the melancholy sun Pain surrounds her. As I stare into her gorgeous eyes I see that she holds Onto nothing but despair. It seems that rusting hate Lives where her heart lies. The gray tint Of this lonely girl's finger Shines adoringly As she turns the pages Of that cheap paper book. Perhaps the feelings Inside the memory-bound book, The naked revaltaions Of her long lost love, Are just too much to bear. She whispers softly "These hypnotic lullabies You sing me dear, Hold not truth. Why must you torture me more? It's hurts enough without your touch.." I feel She has this worry That forever pangs her heart She knows not why She feels this way Or why her heart breaks so Somewhere there are answers But will she ever know? Questions swarm idly in her mind Fear rips at her heart Then a single tear falls from her cheek And into a thousand pieces... Breaks the world beneath.
