As a young man I often lied kept emotions deep down inside afraid to feel and to confide I grew up cold and cynical a tree without light, without love a soft hand in an iron glove a rock, an island without a dove a poor excuse for a boy, the pinnacle Yet kindness came my way and music did brighten my day and thawed the cold with rays of hope and laughter and the whimsical a real person began to emerge and new feelings began to surge and today was the very first time I cried as someone said George Harrison had just died Christopher Cole Written November 30th, 2001 © on Nov 30 2001 01:56 AM PST   0 • 12
